I should like to tell of a very wonderful healing which was experienced in our home. Our eldest son, nine years old, came home from school with a very severe headache and a high fever. He began to get stiff about the legs and back, and had to be carried upstairs. That night I treated him as we are taught to do in Science and Health, but he apparently grew worse, so we called a practitioner, with the result that the case was healed instantaneously.

Next morning all the inflammation had been brought to the surface of the body in a heavy rash. The child was very weak and thin, but gradually improved, and in three days the stiffness was entirely gone. He was out in a week and was as active as usual, but I did not send him to school for about a month. The ailment had been diagnosed by a medical nurse as infantile paralysis.

My other little boy when three years old, was terribly burned about the chest, stomach, and legs. When his clothes were removed, all the skin came off, but he was healed through Christian Science, and—what was most wonderful—not a particle of skin had to be grafted on. All the children have been healed of scarlet fever in its worst form.
