Benevolent Funds of The Mother Church

"I inclose a check for fifty dollars as a contribution for the Halifax Relief fund. I see by the Monitor that the need is still great, and am grateful to have the chance to share a small amount with those in need."

"Having learned that the Board of Directors of The Mother Church has sent funds to the Halifax sufferers, this Church of Christ, Scientist, in its desire to cooperate with the Board of Directors in this work, took a special collection to-day for this purpose. We take pleasure in inclosing herewith our check for $963.60 to be used as the Board of Directors may deem best in ameliorating the conditions in Halifax."

"I inclose one dollar for the Halifax Relief fund. It is very small, but I wanted to add this to the collection taken Sunday, for which I was not prepared. I am so grateful to the Directors of The Mother Church for their beautiful and generous response to the cry for help for Halifax. It is an inspiration to me to work better."
