It is my privilege to offer this testimony of my healing through Christian Science of what is called sick headache. The attacks grew frequent and were preceded by days of physical depression. Material diagnosis and treatment offered temporary but never permanent relief. Christian Science treatment gradually removed the violent symptoms, and is now delivering me from the supposititious underlying causes of disease; namely, fear, ignorance, immorality, ingratitude, selfishness, and similar sins.

The beneficent effects of the activity of Truth and Love are felt in many phases of experience not included in the common definition of physical healing, but understood in Christian Science under the general term of health. I refer to gradual deliverance from poverty of mind, body, and estate. demonstrated in a capacity for clearer, broader, deeper thinking, enlarged and quickened sympathy for man and nature, awakened patriotism, stimulated interest in science and art,—in a word, actual regeneration, the new birth which goes on daily and hourly in Christian Science. This beautiful experience is the direct result of the regular study of the Bible and of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, also of the authorized literature, together with the help of a practitioner at times. The church services, the reading rooms, and the lectures always prove very helpful.

I feel that I owe great reverence and gratitude to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. Her writings have explained and vitalized the words and deeds of Jesus the Christ, and of the prophets and apostles.
