In my case it has again been proven that "man's extremity is God's opportunity." After our baby passed on, and I found myself in extremely poor health, I lost all faith in medicine and was willing to turn to God with all my heart. In a few treatments I was healed of a serious internal trouble, so that I could walk without pain. This trouble had manifested itself following the birth of my second child, and I was confined to the bed for four months and for two years suffered much pain whenever I tried to walk. After taking up Science I gave birth to a child, and with the help of a practitioner no pain was experienced, although there was a little fear at first, and I gained steadily every day. In comparison with my experiences under medical treatment this was nothing short of wonderful to me and to my friends, and I can but praise God for "his wonderful works to the children of men."

My two little boys were practically healed of measles in three days, and after the fifth day all outward symptoms had vanished. One of the boys burned his feet severely, but with the help of a practitioner the pain was overcome in an hour and he was the first one up the next morning, running and romping as usual; his feet were almost covered with blisters, but these quickly disappeared. For this healing and numerous other blessings I feel thankful to God, also grateful to Mrs. Eddy. My greatest hope is that I may be found a worthy Christian Scientist.
