As I begin to write of my first healing in Christian Science, a thought of wonder rises in consciousness as to how I managed to live before I came into some understanding of the truth about God and ourselves. I believe all, especially children, long for God; and how can He be revealed except through Christian Science!

Almost instantly I was healed of throat trouble of years' duration, after much suffering had been experienced both from the condition itself and from the efforts of doctors to alleviate the trouble. I finally decided that the torture inflicted by the well-meaning physicians was worse than the original trouble. During one of these painful experiences a stranger approached my mother and inquired for me. Later she helped me very much, but advised me to go to a practitioner and be entirely healed. I did so, and great is my gratitude, not alone for the physical healing, but for the guidance and harmony that divine Love has bestowed upon me.

From the first I loved Mrs. Eddy and her wondrous works, revealing a God who is all good, in whom "is no darkness at all;" a Father-Mother God, altogether lovely. For this alone we should extend to our Leader endless love, by following in the straight and narrow path up to the Christ-mind. — Violet Seaton-Frank, Fishkill, N. Y.
