I wish to express my gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. About two years ago my eyes began to trouble me; I was nearly blind, and could not read or sew. I consulted an eye specialist, who after a thorough examination said that cataracts were forming on both eyes and that nothing but an operation would remove them. My husband and I, however, both dreaded an operation.

Several years ago I had heard of Christian Science, but I had very little faith in it at that time. In my extremity, however, I had my daughter write to a practitioner, as there was none in the town where I then lived, and absent treatment was given me. When I had taken six treatments I could read her letters, and after two more I went to see her. She gave me five treatments while I was in the city, and my eyes were healed. My sight is as good as before the trouble. I have also been healed of a sprained foot and other ills. I am very grateful for all the benefits which our heavenly Father has bestowed upon me, and my sincere desire is to be worthy to be called a Christian Scientist.
