Food Conservation

By invitation of Mr. Herbert Hoover, United States Food Administrator, twenty-five active members of the Christian Science church residing east of the Mississippi River recently attended a conference on food conservation in Washington. A report of this meeting was published in The Christian Science Monitor of Oct. 8. The important question of protecting and wisely administering the food resources of the country was presented to those present by Mr. Hoover and others. Resolutions were unanimously adopted pledging assistance in every consistent way in the necessary work which the Government has undertaken through Mr. Hoover.
