Several years ago Christian Science was presented to me in an hour of need, and through the reading of an article in the Sentinel the new birth was begun and my sorrow turned into joy. Rheumatism disappeared after one visit to a Christian Science practitioner, and an inward trouble of years' standing soon followed it. It was the latter experience which convinced me of the efficacy of spiritual healing. Two years later, when an illness so serious as to make dissolution seem imminent laid me low and mental work for myself was impossible, treatment by a faithful practitioner again proved that it is God "who healeth all thy diseases." I had, however, been a student of Christian Science four years before I was awakened from the mesmeric sleep of looking to personality instead of to God as our source of supply.

This awakening came when I was suddenly brought face to face with the fact that instead of my future being amply provided for materially, a grave sense of financial lack had to be overcome. The healing of self-pity, resentment, hate, and pride that accompanied the working out of this problem, brought the kingdom of God nigh unto me; and as love filled my consciousness, each day has unfolded the fuller meaning of the words of our revered Leader, "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need" (Science and Health, p. 494).

I am not only deeply grateful for the joy, peace, happiness, and health which Christian Science has brought to me, but rejoice that these blessings are the rightful heritage of every one of God's children.
