It is a duty as well as a blessed privilege to join the countless numbers who have testified to their wonderful healing through Christian Science. When I was two years old one of my arms was broken, and many years after this a spinal trouble developed, so that the spine became very much curved. Then at the age of sixteen I lost all use of my legs. Two specialists examined me, and both declared that I would never be any better, although the curvature would not cause me any more trouble. Some time afterward I underwent an examination, and the attending physician gave me but a few years to live. Several months later I got a brace, but nevertheless grew weaker from day to day, and finally was entirely helpless.

This was my condition for two years, and then I heard of Christian Science. I took treatment, and while not much benefit was received the first year, later there was a noticeable improvement. Although the spine is not yet perfectly straight, I can walk as normally as any other person. The healing has been gradual, but this fact has made me more earnest in the study of Christian Science.

I am thankful to God for sending us one who strove to see that light which she did not hide under a bushel. I also thank God for all the friends who have helped me on my path of healing.—Edna E. Gale, Walsenburg, Col.
