In September, 1913, I was taken with typhoid fever, and was miserable practically all winter. The fever left me with ulcers of the bowels, and the physician said that as I was not very strong he did not think there was much chance of my ever getting over this trouble. Some of my friends told me that they had known of people who had never recovered from this difficulty, so I was very much discouraged. In the spring a Christian Science practitioner moved to our city and I became much interested in Christian Science. I began not only to study "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" but also to attend the meetings, and in a short time, as a result of reading the text-book, I was entirely free from my suffering. I have also been healed of rheumatism and neuralgia of long standing. The healing of these ailments has meant a great deal to me, and I am very thankful for Christian Science.—Maude Libbey, Fergus Falls, Minn.
