Words can never express my thankfulness to God for what Christian Science has done for me and my loved ones. It found me heart-broken and badly wrecked. I had no hope, having exhausted all material means. My home doctor could do no more for me, so I sought the best specialist in Des Moines, only to receive the same sad verdict, that neither medicine nor an operation could ever reach my case.

I had been an invalid for twelve years, gradually going down-hill all the time,—indeed, I had been considered very delicate from birth; but three years ago I was persuaded by a dear friend to try Christian Science. At the time I called on the practitioner for help I breathed through only one lung, according to the statement of two doctors. I suffered from a liver condition said to be organic, which affected the heart; then too the bowels were considered to be in a serious condition. I also had female trouble, and was never without pain day or night. The kidneys and bowels were healed inside of twenty-four hours after I called on the Christian Science practitioner. My healing was wonderful to all who knew me, and many rejoiced with me.

We have had many beautiful demonstrations in our home, and words can never express my joy for being led to this blessed fountain that never runs dry. I have not worked out all my salvation yet, but with the Bible spiritually interpreted by Mrs. Eddy in Science and Health I expect faithfully to follow the route from sense to Soul.
