I had always been religiously inclined, yet never cared to know the doctrine of the churches I attended, for fear there might be something there to which I would object. Some years before I heard of Christian Science I had a realization that God is light, and I went from one church to another to find the light. In the home of a friend I found and read Science and Health, and the eighth chapter of Romans was made so clear to me that the light dawned upon my consciousness. Through continued study of the teachings of Christian Science I was healed of severe headaches that had troubled me for years.

I am very grateful for the better knowledge of God which I have gained through the study of the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and wish to express my loving gratitude to Mrs. Eddy.
