I wish to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me and mine. It has been our only physician for the past fifteen years, during which time we have had many beautiful demonstrations.

I had been suffering from rheumatism for some time, but was completely healed in one week through Christian Science treatment. After a year and a half my youngest child was taken with severe cramps during the night, and as my husband was not then interested in Christian Science he went to call a physician. While he was gone I repeated the "scientific statement of being" (Science and Health, p. 468) and tried to declare the truth the best I knew how. As a result, when he returned with the physician the child was calm and asleep. As soon as daylight came I called on a Christian Science practitioner and had her help us destroy fear. The baby never had any return of this trouble. The same child was healed of a throat disease which had seemed to affect her every winter.

Several years later my four children, then quite young, were taken with scarlet fever, but with the aid of a practitioner they were healed of this ailment in a very short time. Whooping-cough, sprained ankle, bladder trouble, extreme nervousness, and other ills have likewise been overcome. My husband has been cured of weak eyes, chronic stomach trouble, and bowel disorder.
