I wish to express my gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me through Christian Science, and for the healing and understanding of this truth, which is an ever present help. Some years ago I met with an accident while hanging a heavy picture. I was standing on a step-ladder and fell to the floor. When I landed I was unable to move, so my two daughters picked me up and placed me on a couch. I told them to sing a Christian Science hymn, so that I could hear the words and know the truth until I was able to treat myself.

Within an hour I was up and pretty well able to be about the work. This was on Thursday evening. Sunday morning I did not know whether it would be possible for me to go to church, as the ligaments of one leg seemed to be out of place and I could not bear my weight on the foot. I however kept on declaring the truth and left the result with God. I went to church and got along finely, and from that hour the foot was all right, although it was weak for about two weeks.

Nine years ago my husband lost his business, home, and everything we possessed. At first my pride was very much hurt; then the final blow came in the loss of my husband. I could not see why all this should come to me when I was trying to be a good wife and mother and was giving most of my time to the study of Christian Science, but I learned another lesson. I had to know there was nothing lost ; that God was my Father and my all, the source of all supply,—and it certainly has been proven to me. Blessings came from all sides, and whenever there was a call from the field or church, or anywhere else, I was always able to give my portion.
