For many weary years I was a sufferer from nervous...
For many weary years I was a sufferer from nervous trouble. Mentally I was in great agony, as pain in the head was so intense at times that I feared my reason would leave me. Many eminent physicians all over the United States were consulted, but none of them helped me. I oftentimes prayed that God would send me to a good physician. That prayer was answered, and if I had rejected Christian Science the first time it came to me I would be two years ahead. With what understanding I now have of this teaching I have become mentally, physically, and spiritually a better man.
Healing and understanding came slowly, and at times I was much discouraged, but the practitioner assured me that these blessings would come; and so they have. I have found the great Physician, "who healeth all thy diseases," and for this I am thankful to God, as well as grateful to that gentle woman, Mrs. Eddy, and to all who have helped me from darkness to light.—Gotthardt B. Oertel, Seattle, Wash.
