Take Notice

We wish to caution members of The Mother Church in regard to the frequent solicitations they receive by mail and otherwise to invest their money in enterprises which purport to make a special appeal to Christian Scientists.

In the business world it is not customary to exploit the church affiliations or religious experiences of those connected with business enterprises seeking to sell either their stock issues or their merchandise. When such a course is adopted it should not be considered as recommending the soundness of the investment.

It is hoped that every Christian Scientist will make an effort to discourage the use of the directory of practitioners and churches in The Christian Science Journal as a mailing list for the literature of stock-selling schemes and business enterprises.
