Christian Science has done a great deal for me

Christian Science has done a great deal for me. Two years ago, when my arm was swollen so I could hardly move my hand, and badly inflamed, the teacher at school said the condition was due to blood-poison, and if Christian Science could do anything for me she would think there was something in it. My mother had many times done good work in Science for me, but this did not yield to her treatment. When we called a practitioner for help, there was immediate improvement, and the next morning I could raise the hand above my head, the swelling was all gone, and I was healed. I had only just recovered when I was attacked by appendicitis. The suffering was intense, and I was to mortal sense in a bad condition. Again we called the practitioner, and I was entirely healed after several treatments.

One year later I was thrown from my horse in such a way that he stepped on my face, cutting it badly. I was also internally injured. By holding to the truth I was able to reach our business place and my father then helped me home. My mother came quickly to the rescue and was so clear and fearless that I was sustained and strengthened. Then I went over the Lesson-Sermon with my parents. Later we called for help from a practitioner, and I was soon perfectly healed. I am thankful to God for the truth as revealed in Science and Health; it has always met my need, and has protected and saved me in times of danger.

It has been wonderful what God has revealed to us in our home at all times of sickness and trouble, and they have been many. I cannot close without thanking God, and expressing my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy.
