Christian Science has revealed to me a God of love, unchanging good, and enabled me to know man as God's own child. There has been brought to my consciousness the peace which the Master spoke of, that the world can neither give nor take away.

I am thankful for the knowledge of God as Love, which came to me through the study of the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I would like to tell of an experience I had about twelve years ago. I had just finished reading the Lesson-Sermon when the postman brought the Sentinel. In looking over its pages my eyes rested on a little verse which was just what I wanted, and I read it many times. Later in the day I was running a sewing-machine, and in some way the needle passed through the end of my finger. For a few moments all was confusion. Then came the words from the Sentinel, and in a little while confusion and pain were overcome. This gave me a new sense of the meaning of the Master's words, "Lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, . . . for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also."—
