For fifteen years I suffered from severe bilious headaches, which occurred frequently and would upset me for a week each time. I also had worn glasses for seven years. Six years ago the crisis came when my eyes grew rapidly worse. The eyeballs were swollen and the pain was intense. Then a friend advised Christian Science treatment, and I gladly consented to try it. In less than two weeks both these ills vanished, and with the healing came a great spiritual uplift.

Since that time many physical and mental conflicts have been wiped away by Truth. During the summer of 1909, while in Kansas City, Mo., to mortal sense I was overcome by the heat, which was intense, and was totally deaf for a few days. I called on a Christian Science practitioner, and after one treatment the hearing returned. Besides this, a sister was healed of typhoid fever in three days during that summer. In the past five years my mother, father, brother, and two sisters have come to know that God's kingdom is here and now, and we have had many proofs of the power of divine Love.

I am deeply thankful to God, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for showing us the path to freedom from material laws and to true happiness. I am also grateful for many cases of healing which have come to me, and know that if we do God's will our reward is a clearer insight into the depths of His love.
