I wish to testify to the wonderful power of Christian Science...
I wish to testify to the wonderful power of Christian Science in the healing of my little daughter of spinal meningitis. In February, 1913, she was taken very ill, being unconscious for twenty-four hours before we could obtain help, as we live in the country and it was the middle of winter. My husband telegraphed to a Christian Science practitioner, who began treating her at once. In six days, when to all appearances she was slowly passing away, she suddenly regained consciousness, and from that time continued to improve, so that in a month she was able to go out to play. Her back is perfectly straight and her thought quite clear. We had been studying Christian Science only a short while, so there was much fear to be overcome.
The same child had been healed of bad sores on her face and hands shortly before this, entirely by absent treatment. I am indeed most thankful to God for His goodness, and also very grateful to all those who have helped me to understand even a little of this wonderful truth.
