For years I have received blessings through Christian Science, and I feel it is high time that I gave expression to my gratitude. I became acquainted with this teaching through my mother's healing, for with three treatments she was completely cured of the effects of a very serious stroke, which she had had about three years previously. When we came to Christian Science, my mother was almost entirely paralyzed; her thought was darkened, and she often seemed unable to follow our conversation, but after the practitioner's first visit she walked around the room, and after the third visit she was able to attend a Wednesday evening meeting. Her strength quickly returned, and with the help of Christian Science she overcame all other ailments which tried to manifest themselves as formerly.

When Christian Science found me, I was a grieved and unhappy woman, as there was a very difficult family problem to be solved. In Christian Science, however, I found comfort and peace, for which I am very grateful. I have also been healed of physical ills through the understanding of God's love and omnipotence. Three years ago serious poisoning manifested itself on my hands, making it impossible for me to use them. Our dear helper treated me, and after six weeks had elapsed I was completely healed of this distressing condition. Christian Science also healed me two years ago of inflammation of the middle ear, and has proved a constant help in my business dealings. I wish to give special thanks for the translation of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which makes plain to us the teachings of the Bible and leads us to discern the nature of Truth and of man.

For all the benefits received I am deeply thankful to God, and grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy. It is my sincere desire that I may gain a constantly increasing understanding of Christian Science.
