As a matter of fact, Christian Scientists have the utmost respect for the conscientious physician, and they honor him for his unselfish endeavors to relieve human suffering. Furthermore, Christian Scientists believe that those who desire medical treatment should not only be free to have it, but that they should have the best treatment available. Christian Scientists stand unequivocally for personal liberty.
