I had been suffering for years with a distressing gall-stone trouble, which often kept me in bed for days together. The attacks were so severe at times that repeated hypodermics had to be administered, and a local physician, under whose care I was for quite a while, expressed himself as unable to help me. When on one occasion I again suffered the most excruciating pain, I asked my brother to secure help for me in Christian Science, and a practitioner with whom my brother was acquainted at once took up treatment. There was an immediate improvement, and five days later, four treatments having been given, I was again able to manage my business. Whereas formerly the attacks recurred at intervals of from three to four weeks, I have been free from them till now, and I feel impelled herewith to express my deep-felt gratitude for this great benefit.
