In October, 1913, a distressing condition of inflammation and irritation of one eye came upon me, and seemed to get worse with every day. I knew something had to be done, and being advised by my mother to try Christian Science, as she and father had both been healed through its study, a practitioner was at once asked to help me. I was healed instantly of the eye trouble, also of a bowel difficulty and severe headaches. Moreover, I was made new in spirit. I now love to read "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and to study the Bible. Glasses had been worn over eighteen years, and I had been told by an optician that I could never go without them, as the eyes were in a most serious condition. I thought this was true, but have found that God's work is perfect and I no longer need glasses. My daughter, ten years of age, was healed of what to material sense was acute lung trouble, by understanding that all life belongs to God. My husband has been healed of the drink habit, after being addicted to the use of liquor for fifteen years.
For all these blessings, and many more, I praise God, and give thanks to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who brought to us the Christ-healing.
Mrs. Charles W. Robinson, Bicknell, Ind.
