It is with deep gratitude that I express my thanks for the many benefits which have come to me through the study of Christian Science. This truth was brought to my notice six years ago. At that time my eyes were weak and I was told by an oculist that I would always have to wear glasses. A friend who had just been investigating Christian Science advised me to read Science and Health, so I borrowed a copy from the public library and began its study.

For at least ten years prior to this I had great fear of lung trouble, as two of my immediate family had passed on with it, and a few years before taking up Christian Science the symptoms began to be manifested in my case. When I was told that this teaching could heal my eyes, I thought it might also help the other condition, so I began its study in earnest, and within two weeks both eyes and lungs were healed. My two children had become very irritable and cried a great deal, but as soon as I was healed of my great fear, they became quiet.

Last winter my six-year-old boy had whooping-cough, but through Christian Science he was healed in two weeks, with not a trace of the cough remaining. The other two children did not have it, and I know this was because I held steadfastly to the truth. For this wonderful teaching, and for all the literature, I am indeed grateful.
