[Written for the Sentinel]

Resurrection

"Lazarus , come forth"!—the Christ-command was spoken;
The answer came, revealing life unbroken.
O law of Love! the sting of death is gone,
And shadows melt before Truth's glowing dawn.

"Loose him, and let him go"! then turn from mortal sense;
Awaken ye to Truth's omnipotence.
Knowledge of God illumes the darkest hour;
Man is sustained by Mind's eternal power.
