More and more do I realize what Christian Science is doing for me, when I see the trials of those who know not the help and guidance of divine Love. I feel that I have been truly blessed, and I try to realize each day that God, good, is All-in-all. I was led to this teaching by reading Science and Health to a young lady who was not able to hold the book very long at a time. It seemed wonderful to me that we could have all the promised blessings and escape the ills of the flesh.

One evening a test came. Our little four-year-old boy became very sick to material sense with a rupture, which caused much distress and made it impossible to move him. We sent for a Christian Science practitioner, who came and stayed about fifteen minutes. Before she left, the child was asleep, and I carried him up-stairs without awaking him; at three o'clock in the morning he got up, walked across the room, and drank a glass of water with no ill effects. The next afternoon he walked seven blocks to the reading-room and back.

After the birth of this child I was in very poor health and under a physician's care most of the time. As I was advised to undergo an operation, I changed from one physician to another, until I became interested in Christian Science. I have studied this truth for five years and all the old complaints have vanished. The physical healing is wonderful, but the spiritual uplift is the greatest of all. Two years ago we had another beautiful demonstration, at the birth of a baby girl. Every material law was met and overcome, and perfect harmony was manifested. Many remarks have been made by others as to her activity and obedience.
