Since coming into Christian Science I have been helped in...
Since coming into Christian Science I have been helped in so many ways that it would be impossible to tell all in one testimony, but for the benefit of young mothers I am writing this. I have had two little ones come to me since I accepted this truth. While my help with the first was very great, at the time of the birth I was so situated that I had to have a physician and a nurse that were opposed to my religion. Although to material sense I got along beautifully, I did not have the freedom that was experienced in the last instance, when I was able to procure a Christian Science nurse. The months prior to the birth, in both cases, passed without the ailments that usually accompany this condition. I felt and looked so well that my nearest friends and neighbors were unaware of my condition until a very short time before the arrival of the babe, and some were completely surprised. As I had had two children before I took up Christian Science, I can appreciate the vast difference. The old way was slow and hard, but the last birth was almost painless, and over very quickly. The baby, a little girl, is strong and healthy. She has never had the ailments of infancy, and has been unusally good. She is now two years old. The children are learning to demonstrate the truth. For all this and many other blessings I am truly thankful to God.
