I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for all that Christian Science has done for me. I was healed of a severe spinal trouble of many years' standing. I had to use a rubber cushion for three years prior to my healing. I had also been taking an opiate for two years, but through Christian Science I was cured entirely of that dreadful habit. I never taken a dose since or had a desire for it. I was also cured of a severe inflammation of the eyelids. For years I could scarcely see to read at all. I can now read day or night. These healings have proved permanent. Through fear and opposition I gave up Science, but never in thought, and five years ago I took it up again. I now have no opposition. It has been a number of years since I was healed of these ills, and with all the opposition and trials not one of them has ever returned. I am nearly sixty years old and have never worn glasses. I have other ailments that have not been overcome, but I know that Truth will heal them all.

I thank God for the many other blessings I have received through this most glorious truth, and for our faithful Leader.
