True Success

Man cannot fail!

Success in every effort is assured
To him whose steadfast trust is in the Lord.
Who casts his burden on omnipotence,
Is freed from deadening weight of mortal sense,
And grasps with humble joy the living fact
That of himself alone no smallest act
Is done. Thus turning to the perfect Mind,
As flowers in sunlight all their color find,
From Life he draws eternal, tireless might;
From Truth, unchanging certainty of right;
From boundless Love, unfailing tenderness.
And so, with God-filled thought that can but bless,
He rises to the joyous consciousness
That those who strive God's goodness to express
Can never fail; theirs is divine success.
