All
learning, every school, every propaganda, every honest attempt to convince others, is directed, whether consciously or not, to this end,—that men may agree in their thought of what is true, may think alike about the fundamentals of life, and thereby act in accord.
Perhaps
few aspects of Christian Science are more inspiring than the manner in which it enables those who have some understanding of its teachings to cease to be helpless spectators of the troubles of humanity, and instead, to take an active part in their removal, through the spiritual realization of the truth of being and in contributing as we may to the advancement of any improved belief for which others are working in their way.
An
incident which occurred while visiting some friends a short time ago, has proved helpful to me in overcoming a sense of timidity and a want of confidence which was apt to assert itself when occasion demanded that I should apply what understanding I had gained of Christian Science toward helping others.

Christian Science has very much in common with all Christian denominations, going only one step farther in obedience to Jesus' command,—that of healing the sick as well as reforming the sinner through radical reliance upon God.

Over five hundred Snohomish people attended the Christian Science lecture given at Eagles' Hall by Bicknell Young.
Having received much help and encouragement for the past three years from the reading of the testimonies of others, it is plainly my duty to voice gratitude for the many benefits that have come to me since I began the study of Christian Science.
I have received so much help and encouragement from the testimonials in the Sentinel and Journal that I send the following account of my own healing with the hope that it will help some one suffering as I was.
I wish to tell briefly of my healing through Christian Science, and of the many benefits I have received through the study of Science and Health in connection with the Bible.
About three years ago I was in an extremely nervous condition, with attacks of dizziness and asthma, the latter in a very severe form; and not one of the various physicians whom I consulted was able to afford me relief.
