I was healed through Christian Science treatment of kidney disease over five years ago, and there has been no recurrence of the trouble. I had suffered about two years, and had given up medical treatment, when a Christian Scientist friend, on hearing of my illness, gave me an idea of what Christian Science is and directed me to a practitioner. Inside of two weeks I was in perfect health. This was so wonderful to me that I continued with the practitioner another week, to find out, if I could, how I had been healed, when to my surprise all desire for liquor and tobacco left me without my even having had glimpse of the fact that Christian Science is so far reaching. I had used tobacco a great deal for about eight years, and began with the occasional use of liquor when about twenty years of age, continuing this course until, at the age of twenty-seven, I wished I had never tasted it.

Christian Science has enabled me to meet and master many problems which I never before dared to face, and I am very thankful for the protection and help it affords.
