A deep sense of thankfulness to God, and gratitude to our dear Leader, has inspired me to write this testimony. Before taking up the study of Christian Science, the condition which existed in our every-day home life was almost unbearable. The sense of discord and discouragement which was brought about from wrong management, seemed to outweigh all else. I am thankful to say, however, that through the loving help of a Christian Science practitioner this condition has been overcome, and we have been helped physically, morally, financially, and in many other ways.

Our home life has been changed from one of discord and unhappiness to that of love and kindness. I have been healed of chronic catarrh, and what is called granulated eyelids, with which I had been troubled from childhood. My husband has been healed of throat trouble and colds, from which he suffered every winter before he was helped in Christian Science. The greatest blessing of all, however, is the spiritual uplift, and the understanding gained through the study of the Bible in connection with our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. This study is teaching us each day that the promises of our dear Master are for us now, and that as we put our understanding of Truth into practise in our every-day life, we have these promises fulfilled here and now.

I am grateful for having been lovingly helped along this journey from darkness to light, and I am trying each day to live a better and purer life by putting into practise the understanding which I am gaining. Christian Science is a daily guide in our home; it is bettering conditions in every way, for which I am indeed grateful.
