PEACE

Night, with its silence and its solitude,Brings all earth's strife unto the feet of Love:There, in the stillness of the eventide,To lift our thoughts in prayer to God above.

The mists and clouds which seemed so dense by dayThat we had stumbled on with bleeding feet,Are in Thy presence all dispersed and gone;And peace and harmony now reign complete.
