With a grateful heart I write to testify to the healing of my little daughter. In the spring of 1910, when she was just three years of age, she was attacked with a bowel disorder. At first I was not much afraid, as I thought I would be able to help her with Christian Science; but I found that I could not overcome my own fear, and the child seemed to be losing strength rapidly, so early one morning I decided to ask a Christian Science practitioner for help. The child was still very ill when eleven o'clock came, but a few minutes afterward she suddenly became quite well. She raised herself up in my arms and said, "I am better now." I thought, "Oh, how I wish you were!" I had not seen the improvement then, but I soon realized it, as within half an hour she was dressed and walking about as if nothing had been wrong. When her father came home to dinner she sat at the table and ate a hearty meal, with no ill effects afterward.

In the afternoon she was singing and playing in her usual happy way. Next day being Sunday, we took her to church, and no trace of any illness was to be seen on her face. Since then she has been perfectly well. For this, and many other blessings, I am deeply grateful to God for leading me into Christian Science.
