I feel it is time I should pay my tribute to Christian Science, and perhaps be the means of encouraging some one who needs help. Through the healing of my mother by Christian Science of creeping paralysis, at the age of seventy-four years, I became much interested, and the following year had treatment when my baby was born, with the result of an almost painless birth. This was a wonderful demonstration to me, for eleven years before, when my first baby was born, I had suffered extremely. Since then I have had many proofs of this healing truth. The so-called children's ailments have been quickly overcome for my little boy, who has never had any other than Christian Science treatment, as it has been sufficient to meet every need.

To last two years I have passed through deep waters, to mortal sense, but with the understanding I have had of Christian Science, and by clinging steadfastly to the truth, I have been able to realize the assurance of the 91st Psalm, "I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him;" also the words from Isaiah: "It shall come to pass in the day that the Lord shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy fear, and from the hard bondage wherein thou wast made to serve."

For all these blessings my heart goes out in gratitude to God, the giver of all good, and to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for having been so patiently and lovingly helped along the road that leads ever upward.
