AMONG THE CHURCHES

CURRENT NOTES.

Philadelphia, Pa.—With a membership of fifty active workers, the committee devoted to the work of distributing Christian Science literature and periodicals to homes and institutions, libraries, car barns, fire-houses, police stations, barber shops, hotels, theaters, clubs, steamships, department stores, etc., has shown greater activity and accomplished a broader and more expansive scope of labor than ever before. The total number of pieces distributed during the year was 81,979.—Correspondence.

Pawhuska, Okla.—Our society has been organized less than a year, and is the outgrowth of the meeting together of two families during the latter part of 1910 to read the Lesson-Sermon each Sunday morning. We now hold services in our own bungalow chapel, whose attractiveness lies in its homelike simplicity. For all these proofs of God's loving guidance we are deeply grateful.—Correspondence.
