It is two years since I became acquainted with the glorious teachings of Christian Science. Without this knowledge I would hardly have been able to bear all the experiences which I have had to go through, especially when our dearest one, the supporter of the family, was taken away from us. But now I know that God forsaketh neither "the widow, nor the fatherless." I have experienced many blessings in a business way and have witnessed many instances of healing in my home and with my children. The youngest child, a boy nine years old, was healed through Christian Science of a skin disease of years' standing. Some time ago the boy sustained an injury of the arm, caused by a piece of glass, and as it was close to an artery and very painful, while discoloration began to appear, fear got the better of me, and I sent to a Christian Science practitioner, who immediately took up treatment. The wound healed very quickly and without pain. A short time after, the school which my youngest daughter attended was closed on account of throat trouble, but not before the little girl had high fever and complained of her throat. I again applied for Christian Science treatment, with the wonderful result that the child was restored the next day and able to leave her bed.

I might mention many more instances in which I have experienced the blessings of divine Love. It will be my endeavor to increase my understanding of Truth, and I am deeply grateful to all who have helped me to walk in the right way. Thanks to God for the many great and glorious proofs of His goodness, and next to Him, I am grateful to our beloved Leader.
