Christian Science is the best thing that has ever come my way, for it is the healing truth taught by Christ Jesus. I had been a great sufferer, mentally and physically, for a number of years, when my physicians began to plan for three operations to be performed. While in this condition, with no hope of ever being well, a lady handed me a copy of the Christian Science Sentinel. She remarked that it had been sent to her, and I took it because I was a great reader; for I had no knowledge of what it was, as I had never heard of Christian Science and have not yet seen a Christian Scientist. I read the testimonies, and hope began to rise in my heart. I would say over and over, If God has done all this for others, He will do as much for me, as He "is no respecter of persons." I did not delay in purchasing a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and I had to read only a little while to realize that the word of God is indeed "quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword," for all pain and discomfort had gone. That was three years ago, and I have not taken or given a dose of medicine since.

I would say to all suffering ones, that if they would but read this wonderful book, Science and Health, and study and practise its teachings, they would find the "pearl of great price."—Mrs. George Runion, Del Rio, Tenn.
