It is with the greatest pleasure and deepest gratitude that I here witness to the wonderful healing power of Christian Science. About eight years ago I was in a very serious physical condition, the physician who diagnosed my case stating that I would have to submit to two surgical operations before I could ever hope to be a well woman. One trouble, of twelve years' standing, was said to be organic, and from this I suffered greatly. With the fear of two operations confronting me, I was anything but happy, and having been in constant pain for over three months, I was in a dreadfully nervous condition.

One evening Christian Science was brought to my notice by a friend, and treatment advised. The very next day I went to a practitioner and asked for help, and while receiving my first treatment I was relieved of all pain for the time being, which made me very hopeful that I might receive permanent relief. In exactly four treatments I was entirely healed, and have remained so, never having had any return of the troubles in any form. For over nine years I had worn glasses constantly, being unable to see without them, the trouble having been diagnosed as a structural defect. About a year and a half after my first healing in Christian Science I met with a serious automobile accident, and while receiving treatment for my injuries, which consisted of five broken ribs, a badly injured spine, also numerous cuts and bruises, my eyes were entirely healed, although I had no direct treatment for them.

I have received so many benefits through the application of Christian Science, that I am more than grateful. It is a great comfort to me to know that God is Love and an ever-present help. I earnestly give thanks to God, and am grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that I have been so wonderfully helped, both spiritually and physically.
