I am so thankful for what Christian Science has done for me that I feel it my duty to write this testimony. Three years ago I began to read Science and Health, getting the book from the public library. I renewed it three times, and before I had finished reading it I felt like a different person. I knew I had found what I had so long been searching for. It made the Bible plain and clear, and life meant so much more to me. To me it is the true teaching of Christ Jesus, without any man-made doctrine, the pure religion of divine Love. I was not searching so much for the physical healing as for the satisfaction which I had not been able to find in the different churches with which I had been connected, but I am now a member of a Christian Science church. While reading Science and Health, I found I was able to eat anything I wanted to without its distressing me. I had for thirty years taken medicine regularly, but have not taken any for the last three years. I took a few treatments of a practitioner, and gained a great deal in that way.

I am deeply thankful to God for the truth found in Science and Health, and for all it has done for thousands in bringing to them the health and happiness which they could find in no other way. I appreciate the Sentinel and Journal, the testimonies being very helpful to me. I am thankful that so many are healed quickly. What a blessing to know of the great Physician who heals all our sickness! I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" and the spiritual uplifting it gives.
