I give this testimony with a heart filled with gratitude to God for the blessings which Christian Science has brought to me. I am also grateful to Mrs. Eddy for the wonderful healing truth which she has made available to mankind, and the study of Science and Health together with the Bible is truly beautiful.

It is a little over a year ago that I came into Christian Science. At that time I thought I could not get along without intoxicants, but I was prevailed upon to try Christian Science, and after a few treatments was completely cured of the desire, as from that time on I never craved liquor or thought of it. Christian Science has also helped other members of my family, and the spiritual uplifting has brought happiness to our home. My work as a fireman prevents me from attending church regularly, yet I never fail to read the Lesson-Sermon each day. The more I read, the more I want the divine word. For all this I am very thankful, and it is my hope that this testimony will help some one who is in need of it. I know Christian Science will help all who are willing to study the text-book faithfully.
