It is with a feeling of deep gratitude that I give this testimony, which proves the allness of God's power to heal. In the early part of 1911, while away from home on a business trip, I met with an accident which resulted in a badly injured arm. I was not sure at the time of the exact nature of the injury, but knew it was serious. I went to my room and tried to realize man's relation to God; but fear had taken possession of me and I was unable to help myself, so I telephoned to a practitioner and stated my case. On her advice I went to a doctor, who on examination said I had sustained a serious injury—what is known to medical science as a "Colles' fracture." He set the arm, and I immediately asked for more help in Christian Science, with the result that the next morning I was able to shave as usual, using both hands, and then went to my place of business.

At that time my work was of such a nature as to require not only the use of both hands, but also required my beings very active, and this I was able to be. One week from date of the accident I went to a doctor in another city and had him remove the splints. On examining the arm, he was much surprised to find it, as he said, perfectly normal, without the usual condition found after the knitting of a bone. I had no further trouble, and from that day to this the injured arm has been in no way different from the other.

While I have seen many beautiful demonstrations of healing in our family in the last five years, this one meant very much to me, and the blessings which followed the experience were many. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to God, also to Mrs. Eddy for our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which enables us to know God as Love and also as justice.
