Four years ago my misunderstanding of Christian Science yielded to the truth regarding it, and I found what I had long sought, namely, the truth about God and man's relation to Him. Since then not a day has passed in which we have not proved the power of divine Love to overcome discordant conditions. I am very thankful to God for Christian Science, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for making it known to us "as the law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony" (Rudimental Divine Science, p. 1). I am also grateful for the healing which has been experienced by my family and myself; but beyond the physical healing is the happiness and peace which come with the unfolding of spiritual understanding. I know that a greater realization of God's presence and power is revealed to us as we express our willingness to fulfil our "promise to watch, and pray for that Mind to be in us which was also in Christ Jesus; to do unto others as we would have them do unto us; and to be merciful, just, and pure" (Science and Health, p. 497).
