Although it is only four years since I came into Christian Science, I know that I have found the straight and narrow way and I am trying to walk therein. I came for healing and have been wonderfully helped of chronic trouble. I have had many demonstrations, one in a case of severe burning. A large piece of meat slipped into a kettle of hot fat, which splashed over my face and eyes. For a moment I suffered intensely, but instantly I declared the truth of being, and in a moment the pain had gone never to return. For a few minutes my sight was blurred, but it soon cleared, and I have had no trouble with my eyes since. The water ran from my face all day, but I went about my work just as if nothing had happened, and had no trouble whatever. I have not even a scar to show how badly I was burned.

For this healing and many other blessings I give God the glory, and I know He raised up Mrs. Eddy to make the way plain for us. The desire of my heart is that I may understand more and more of this truth, the truth that brings us out of bondage, and that my life may be so true that I can help others who are weary and heavy laden to understand it. I thank God every day for our helpful literature.
