O glorious day, when I awake to knowMyself, as e'en the Father knoweth me,—His child, in His own image made,Reflecting naught but Spirit's purity.

Teach me Thy way, O God! so that each dayBe one step nearer to that heaven above:And then, through cloud or sunshine, come what may,I'll know naught but Thy guidance and Thy love.
