SUNBEAMS

When lying in my little room,
My heart would fain be filled with gloom,
But for the sunbeams on the wall
Which through the crystal windows fall!

And so for others, in this life,
I can relieve much pain and strife
By thoughts of Truth, however small,
But bright, like sunbeams on the wall!
