Some sixteen years ago I first heard of Christian Science, and soon after I procured the text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. Through the reading of this book I was healed of what doctors had called a kidney trouble, of about eighteen years' standing; also a throat and lung affection which the doctors considered hereditary. I have been able to meet and overcome, through the truth, many ailments for our family, such as measles, fevers, blood-poisoning, a gunshot wound, rheumatism, and dislocated joints. About three years ago I had the privilege of going through a class taught by one of Mrs. Eddy's students. And for the healing and many other blessings I am truly thankful to God, also to Mrs. Eddy. Christian Science is the greatest blessing that ever came into our home.
Mrs. Catharine Robeson, Greenville, Ohio.
I would like to add my testimony to that of my wife. I am indeed grateful for what Christian Science has done for me. It healed me entirely of a severe stomach trouble of several years' standing. Since this healing I eat anything I want without any ill effects. After my wife was healed I took up the study of Science and Health, by Mrs. Eddy, and in a short time the ailment from which I had suffered was completely overcome, also another trouble of which I would like to speak. For eight weeks I could not lie down, but was propped up in a chair and could sleep but a very little, although I was then under medical treatment. The doctors ordered me to take one tablet and if I did not sleep to take another, and so on until I could sleep. At this point I refused to take any medicine at all, and I have never taken any since that time. I have had perfect health ever since, and for all of the above I am truly thankful to God, also to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy.—John Robeson, Greenville, Ohio.
