One among the many blessings which we have received...
One among the many blessings which we have received through Christian Science is the healing of our little boy of a fever. We had just moved to this city, and on arrival here we immediately sought help from a practitioner, through whose understanding of the ever-presence of God as divine Life, Truth, and Love, our son was soon restored. The treatment also allayed the sense of fear in myself.
Although I had been healed of so-called organic trouble of years' standing, through the reading of our text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and had withnessed many proofs of the healing power of Christian Science in our home, yet in this instance of our son's sickness (disturbed over what others might say and knowing the general fear of the disease), I was brought to the realization of the meaning of these words, "Choose you this day whom ye will serve." Our son was healed in ten days, while at another time when one of our children had the same disease, and was under medical treatment, the disease was not overcome for over two months.
We are indeed grateful to God, the giver of all good, also to Mrs. Eddy for her ministry to the world.
