I wish to express my gratitude to God for Christian Science and what it has done for me. I had been in poor health for years, among other ills having heart trouble, and it was getting to be very bad when a friend recommended Christian Science to me. She said it would cure the heart trouble and every other ailment. I wanted to know what Christian Science was, and she explained it as far as she could, also advised me to read Science and Health. I went to the public library (at that time I was in Athens, Ga.), borrowed a copy, and commenced to read it. I also began to take treatment, with the result that the heart trouble left me, also rheumatism and several other complaints. I felt like a new person—I could walk, and could also work without being sick.

This was in August, 1908, and these troubles have never returned. I am still in fine health, and am studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and striving to live up to its teachings. I thank God every day, yes, every hour, for this wonderful truth.
